Standings, tie-breakers, and results

Standings update automatically after every match. The points system:

→ Win: 4 points → Draw: 2 points → Loss: 0 points → Bonus point (scoring 4+ tries in a match): 1 point → Bonus point (losing by 7 or fewer): 1 point

For 7s tournaments, the bonus point system can be disabled — it depends on the tournament rules you set during setup.

When teams are level on points, the following tie-breakers are applied in order:

1. Head-to-head result between tied teams 2. Points difference (tries scored minus tries conceded × 5) 3. Total tries scored 4. Coin toss (manual, by the organizer)

The system applies tie-breakers 1–3 automatically. If teams are still level, you resolve it manually.

At the end of the tournament, you can publish the final standings and results. The public page then becomes a permanent record — searchable and linkable.

Club managers can reference their tournament history when applying to future events. Organisers on the Annual Pass can see aggregate results across all their events in the analytics dashboard.
