Tournament setup from scratch

Create your tournament, choose a format, set entry deadline, and go live in under 5 minutes.

1Create your tournament

Log in at app.skrammm.com and tap "New Tournament". Give it a name, choose your format (7s, 10s, or 15s), set the date and location, and add a short description for your public event page.

Your tournament is created in draft mode until you publish it. Draft tournaments are not visible to clubs or players.

2Choose your format

Skrammm supports three formats:

→ 7s — The most common format for Malaysian club festivals. Fast matches, multiple pitches, fits a full day easily. Typical group size: 4–6 teams per group.

→ 10s — A middle ground between 7s and 15s. Often used for charity or mixed events. Less common but fully supported.

→ 15s — Full-format rugby. Usually run over two days. Fixture generation accounts for adequate rest time between matches.

Your format determines how fixtures are generated and how match duration is calculated.

3Set your entry deadline

The entry deadline is the date after which no new teams can apply to join your tournament. Set it at least two weeks before your event to give yourself time to finalize the draw and communicate the fixture list to clubs.

After the deadline, you can still manually approve or reject teams that applied before it closed.

4Publish and share

When your tournament is ready to accept entries, publish it. You'll get a unique public URL — share this with club managers so they can apply to enter.

The public page shows: tournament name, format, date, location, registered teams, and (once the draw is made) the full fixture list with live scores.
