Discipline management and fair play
How to issue yellow and red cards, manage suspensions, and keep the discipline record clean.
1Issuing cards in the scoring panel
In the match scoring panel, tap "Card" then select the team and player. Choose yellow or red.
Yellow cards are time-based — the player is off for 10 minutes in 15s or the equivalent period in 7s. Red cards are permanent dismissals.
All card events are timestamped and appear in the analytics discipline tracker.
2Suspensions and carry-overs
For tournaments running over multiple days, you can flag a red card as a suspension that carries into the next match. The system marks the affected player as suspended on their squad sheet.
Suspension management beyond the tournament (e.g. union-level bans) is handled outside Skrammm — contact your state rugby union for the formal process.
3Discipline reports
After the tournament, the discipline tracker in your analytics dashboard shows a full record of all yellow and red cards. This report can be shared with referees, the match commissioner, or the rugby union.
The report is available as long as your tournament record is active on Skrammm.
